Somewhere on a lost highway, at the side of the road, sits LONE PINE CAFE, home of classic American comfort food. Our extensive menu features Memphis Hunk Ribs, Mr B's Gumbo Ya Ya, Jim Clark's Award Winning Chili, Barbeque Pulled Pork and Italian Sausage with Cheesy Smashed Potatoes.

Try one of our more than 20 varieties of the best Hamburger in Asia (we hear that all the time) or a great sandwich like French Dip, Cajun Po Boy, Philly cheesecake or Hot Pastrami Rueben.

Want a good salad? We offer a large selection of big and not so small salads. Our beer list, one of the biggest and best in town has 16 beers from the USA, England, Belgium, Germany and Asia. We have a full bar and always offer great margarita and mojito specials. It you love bourbon our selection is tops.

So pull off road and enjoy our superb food and drink.

Lone Pine has always been a special place for me.

Located in the high desert on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada's Lone Pine is surrounded by natural wonders.

Drive out of town on the whitney portal road and end up halfway to the summit of Mount Whitney, the tallest in the lower 48.

Head south out of town and you are soon in Death Valley the lowest spot in the continent and an area of unique desert beauty.

Drive north and you can visit a grove of bristlecone pine trees, the earth's oldest living organisms with some trees more 5000 years old.

The other worldly Alabama hills located adjacent to town have been the backdrop for hundreds of feature films and television shows. As I've said, a special place. WAB
